At the beginning of this year, three municipal-level science popularization bases were officially approved in Zhongshan. Currently, there are a total of 65 science popularization bases of various types in Zhongshan, according to a representative of the Zhongshan Association for Science and Technology.

The three newly-added municipal science popularization bases are the Zhongshan Zimaling Zoo, China Telecom, Zhongshan Branch Company's "Internet+ Base", and HRG (Zhongshan) Institute of Unmanned Equipment and Artificial Intelligence.

The "Internet+ Base" of China Telecom, Zhongshan Branch Company not only offers a special place for sharing internet information to the public, but also has interactive demonstration that is designed to educate the public on science while making it fun. These organizations provide various types of popular science topics on different levels to bring more science information to the public.

The HRG (Zhongshan) Institute of Unmanned Equipment and Artificial Intelligence in Tsuihang New District will demonstrate to young people artificial intelligence technologies such as unmanned equipment and smart sensing devices. These fascinating topics will stimulate young people's interests in new technology fields.

The Zhongshan Zimaling Zoo is the only zoo in Zhongshan. It exhibits 40 different kinds of animals with a total animal population of 2,800.
