A Zhongshan-based enterprise is providing green electricity for the first photovoltaic energy storage and distribution room in Guangzhou.

The whole photovoltaic energy storage system adopted in the distribution room uses high-efficiency cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film solar cells developed and produced by Zhongshan Ruike New Energy Co Ltd. It can continuously supply power for 22 hours, bringing green, environment-friendly and reliable solutions to the power grid.

"Ruike will strengthen the operations and service innovation, and accelerate the construction of novel exemplary projects to contribute to the integration of photovoltaic buildings in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to build foundation for green power," said Qi Pengfei, CEO of Ruike.
