The Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology announced the 2019 evaluation results of national technology business incubators a few days ago. Zhongshan's National Health Technology Park incubator got an Excellent (A-grade) mark once again. This is the only incubator in Zhongshan that has received national marks in this evaluation for 4 consecutive years.

By the end of 2019, there were 76 incubated enterprises in the NHTP incubator, with 346 valid intellectual properties.

In 2019, the NHTP incubator added 18 new incubated enterprises and introduced several high-tech biomedical projects including Junjo Pharmaceuticals, Junkai Pharmaceuticals and Zhejiang Tianqi Medicine Co Ltd. It also introduced Sky Blue Biomedical Equipment Ltd, an entrepreneurship project of Professor Wong Ka-Leung of Hong Kong Baptist University.

The NHTP incubator successfully incubated 13 enterprises in 2019, with a total of 76 enterprises incubated, 7 of which achieved a revenue of more than 50 million yuan the year they were incubated.

In addition, the NHTP-based Guangdong Licheng Detection Technology Co Ltd was recently awarded the title of "National Demonstration Public Service Platform for SMEs".
