Zhongshan Port has resumed to 70% of normal operation

"Our export business has resumed to 90% of normal operation." On February 23, Wu Chaojia, customs declaration director of Zhongshan TCL Refrigeration Equipment Co Ltd told Zhongshan Daily. Recently, TCL is speeding up the export of products and expediting the delivery of orders from such countries and regions as the Middle East, India, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America.

Zhongshan Customs have processed more than 90,000 tons of import and export goods after the Spring Festival, with a value of more than 2.6 billion yuan. The most rapid growth came in the past week. At present, the business volume of Xiaolan Port and Shenwan Port has resumed to last year's average level, and the business volume of Zhongshan Port cargo terminal has recovered to 70% of last year's average level.

Zhu Youqing, chief of the Third Supervision Division of Zhongshan Customs, said that in order to help key foreign trade enterprises resume work and production, Zhongshan Customs helped them reduce losses caused by the epidemic through precise assistance and one-on-one service. At the same time, Zhongshan Customs formulated 20 measures to promote the steady growth of overseas trade and fully supported Zhongshan enterprises to resume work and production in an all-round way. The 20 measures cover five aspects, including rapid inspection and release, policy guidance, reduction of enterprise costs, paperless operation, and strengthening of supervision.
