From May 7 to 8, forty enterprises from Zhongshan headed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, UAE for the BIG 5 Saudi International Building & Construction Show as well as business exchanges and matchmaking.

The BIG 5 Saudi International Building & Construction Show is one of the most influential of its kind in the Gulf region. At the show, the enterprises from Zhongshan showcased a variety of quality products, including lighting fixtures, home appliances and electrical appliances, hardware, sanitary ware and locks, and communicated with local buyers, associations, chambers of commerce and overseas Chinese.

The Zhongshan delegation consisted of leading enterprises in the city's traditional competitive industries such as lighting, hardware, home appliances and kitchen & bathroom. Among these enterprises were Huayi, Glamor, Guangyang, Huanya, Boen and Mingmen. While participating in the BIG 5 Saudi International Building & Construction Show, the Zhongshan delegation organized business exchanges and matchmaking in Jeddah, and surveyed the local market. Also, it paid a reciprocal visit to Dubai for a survey of the local business environment and further exchanges with local enterprises.
