On the afternoon of March 23, the construction site of the 220 kV Guhai Transformer Substation in Xindi Village, Huangpu Town was in full swing. The construction unit has been operating at twice the normal construction speed to catch up with the schedule that was delayed by the epidemic.

The 220 kV Guhai Power Transmission and Transformation Project is a key project in Zhongshan City with a total investment of 288 million yuan. It can benefit Nantou, Huangpu, Fusha and other towns and districts. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in October. After being put into operation, a 220kV double loop structure will be formed in the northeast of Zhongshan, greatly improving the safety and reliability of the local power supply.

It is reported that, including Guhai Transmission and Transformation Substation, the new power supply projects in Zhongshan city this year involve an investment of 1.45 billion yuan, backing up Zhongshan's goal of rejuvenation with sufficient "power".
