Zhongshan's first 'industry-to-industry' project under new urban renewal policies starts construction

The Chuangzhi Industry City in Huangpu Town, the first 'industry-to-industry' project since the implementation of the new urban renewal policies in Zhongshan, started construction on the morning of August 6. The project with an investment of 950 million yuan will quadruple its annual output value to 2.5 billion yuan after it is completed.

As one of Zhongshan's key projects, the Chuangzhi Industry City plans to attract high-quality enterprises in such high-tech industries, strategic emerging industries and cultural creative industries as 5G, smart home, precision electronics, cosmetics, composite materials, energy conservation and environmental protection and etc. It aims at developing into a gathering place for high-end industries by integrating manufacturing, R&D, product design, e-commerce, corporate headquarters, product display and manufacturer services.

Zhang Jinbin, chairman of Chuangzhi Group, said that the 150-mu Chuangzhi Industry City will be built into a garden-like industrial science and technology park, which has a total construction area of 368,000 square meters, with such diversified functions as production, scientific research, office and warehousing.

Since the beginning of this year, Huangpu Town has started transformation of more than 1,000 mu of low-efficiency land. It strives to build high-end factories covering more than 2 million square meters in 3 years, mainly for smart home appliances, smart home and other industries.
