The People's Government of Sanxiang Town on January 10 signed a cooperation framework agreement with such financial institutions as the Zhongshan Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the Zhongshan Branch of Agricultural Bank of China. A total credit of 50 billion yuan from 10 banks will be granted to uphold the renovation of inefficient industrial parks in Sanxiang.

Guo Mingxing, Party secretary of Sanxiang, said that the town will carry out four major programs to improve land utilization. Focus will be on such emerging industries as high-end manufacturing, healthcare and next-gen information technology. Sanxiang will boost the industrial park renovation and investment attaction simultaneously to accelerate project construction.

Sanxiang has designated 4 contiguous industrial parks for renovation, including the Baishi Dakengtang industrial park, Southern New Town urban renewal (Guhe-Xinwei area) project, the Baishi Madou industrial park, and the Maowan Industrial Park.

It is expected that by the end of 2022, at least 750 mu (50 hectares) of inefficient industrial park area in Sanxiang will be demolished, including at least one 200-mu (about 13.3 hectares) contiguous industrial park.
