The first tourist distribution center of Zhongshan was inaugurated in Zhongshan Terminal in West District on the morning of October 28.

The tourist distribution center serves as a large traffic hub platform that integrates tourist reception services, city image displays, tourism commodity exhibitions, passenger transfers, catering and leisure services and provides tourists with docking services to 5 major airports in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The center also offers diverse public services such as consulting, hotel and catering, conference and reception, tourist commodities, booking services among others.

In the near future, the center will also set up cultural service facilities such as shared reading space and cultural creative product display are for the convenience of tourists.

Luo Jianhua, Director of the Zhongshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, said that another tourist distribution center is scheduled to be built in Huayi Square in Guzhen Town this year. In the future, more tourism distribution centers will be designed and built in Zhongshan Station, Zhongshan Coach Terminal, 4A scenic spots and 5A scenic spots where tourists are highly concentrated.
