The celebration activity of the 29th National Disabled Day was held at the Zhongshan Workers' Culture Palace on May 17.

Art performance, with the participation of some disabled persons, was given at the activity, in addition to the launching of the Zhongshan Disabled Persons Federation's official WeChat account for enterprises and the establishment of the Zhongshan Public Culture Service Alliance.

On the afternoon, Liang Lixian, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhongshan CPC Committee and Director of the municipal United Front Work Department also visited some families of poor persons with disability in Zhongshan and delivered warmth and consolation money to them.

During the National Disabled Day period, Zhongshan will organize a series of activities, including the 2019 Zhongshan Art Festival for the Disabled, the 2nd Blind Poetry Reading and Creation Contest, the Speech Contest for Disabled Persons, and the Zhongshan Special Olympics.
