The local original interactive experiential children's drama Garbage Story, performed in the large theater of Zhongshan Culture & Art Center on June 15, presented an "environmental protection was" in a childlike world.

Garbage Story, with a theme of environmental protection, was performed by 31 local children aged 4 to 12, integrating drama with songs and dances.

Garbage Story tells the story that in the context of rapid urban development and serious environmental pollution, people in the city begin to take action in beautifying the city. However, garbage does not want to leave the place they live. Facing the danger of the garbage surrounding the city, the children decide to launch a war of environmental protection against "City Flyposts" and "Toxic Substances".

"I want to provide children with a performing platform to train their communication skills, creative and imaginative power and transposition thinking ability. I also hope they could develop environmental awareness from an early age, and popularize the importance of environmental protection to more children in Zhongshan in the form of drama," said Ge Jiadi, director of Garbage Story.
