The 2019 Macao Street Fair, with the theme "Harmonious Community with Mutual Assistance", was organized by the Zhongshan Office of the Uniao Geral das Associacoes dos Moradores de Macau (hereafter referred to as the UGAMM Zhongshan Office) and A-Living Services Co Ltd at the Agile Garden Center City in Sanxiang, Zhongshan on August 10.

At the activity, Macao compatriots and nearby residents experienced various games, and enjoyed such performances as Chinese-style catwalk, songs and dances, chorus and Tai Chi show presented by the UGAMM Zhongshan Office volunteers and A-Living's staff members.

Mr Cheong from the Taipa Community Center in Macao was deeply impressed by the Chinese-style catwalk show. He believed such event could better enhance the mutual acceptance and friendship between people from Macao and the Mainland of China, as well as enrich residents' lives.

"We are going to organize the Macao Street Fair in July or August every year. This year's event is held in Sanxiang Town because many Macao residents live or work here. It is conducive to enhancing the friendship between hometown fellows," said Zheng Minmin, a counselor of the UGAMM Zhongshan Office.

As the first legal representative agency of an overseas non-governmental organization of Macao in Zhongshan, the UGAMM Zhongshan Office provides assistance services in business startup, work, school attendance, house purchasing, residence, tourism and retirement and pension to Macao citizens in the Mainland of China. Meanwhile, it will also make efforts in introducing social service technology and experience from Macao to the Mainland of China, in a bid to boost the diversified development of social service and community management in Zhongshan.
