The Jieyang Culture and Tourism Promotion Meeting was held by the Jieyang Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau in Zhongshan on the afternoon of November 20. The meeting covered Jieyang tourism from four different aspects: cultural tour, mountain and sea tour, shopping and food, and the cultural travel market.

The promotion meeting showcased Jieyang's characteristic culture. It had set up exhibition areas for handicraft art and souvenirs of Jieyang, including Jiexi grinding tea, Chaozhou-Shantou fruit cakes, grass jelly, etc. In addition, intangible cultural heritage performances such as Chaozhou opera and iron wire puppet show were also on display.

In October of this year, the Zhongshan-Jieyang high-speed railway was opened to service. This transportation facility greatly expedited the movement of tourists between the two cities. The promotion meeting held in Zhongshan has further promoted culture and tourism exchange and cooperation between the two places.
