For this year's Zhongshan Charity Parade, 12 folk art teams performed at the intersections of Xingzhong Avenue and Zhongshan Road, Sunwen Road.

Among the performances, there were three dragon-related performances including the Guzhen Liufang Cloud-dragon Dance, West District Changzhou Drunken Dragon Dance and Qiwan Golden Dragon Dance.

In addition, there were performances such as the Nanlang Yakou Piaose Puppet Show, Sanjiao Kylin Dance, Shiqi Lion Dance, Shachong Ma Family Spear Demonstration, Shaxi Shangheng Dragon Dance and Lion Martial Arts Troupe, Shaxi Crane Dance, Shaxi Phoenix Dance, Qiwan Happy Every Day Fitness (Drumline) Team, East District Hemei Dance Troupe (Yangko Team), and others.

"As a Zhongshan native, I get involved in the Zhongshan Charity Parade in different ways every year, but it is the first time for me to participate as a member of a folk art team," said He Yuying, 77, captain of the Qiwan Happy Every Day Fitness (Drumline) Team. "The theme of the Zhongshan Charity Parade this year is 'Respect for your Elders'. Zhongshan has always been imbued with the spirit of respect, love and help for their elders, so we, the old people, are very happy to live here. Therefore, we are all very proud to be able to perform for the Zhongshan Charity Parade."
