TV series "The Red Boat" is being filmed these days in the Zhongshan Studio City. Over 250 students from Zhongshan Polytechnic participated in a five-day shooting. They had learned about China's great revolutionary history through this practical experience activity.

"The Red Boat" is a major TV series on revolutionary history produced to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China by China Media Group.

Directed by Song Yeming and starring Wang Renjun, Xi Wang and Wang Zhifei, the TV series will reproduce the Communist Party of China's birth, growth and development as well as the glory and dreams it achieved from 1919 to 1928. The shows will also vividly interpret the precious connotation and value of the "Red Boat Spirit".

"The Red Boat" is planned to be broadcast on CCTV-1 channel in July this year.
