Gu's Ancestral Hall, the former command site of the Pearl River Column of the Guangdong guerrilla forces, after a long-time closure for renovation, opened with a new look for the opening ceremony of the Zhongshan's Resistance against Japanese Aggression Exhibition on the morning of June 23.

The exhibition features important dates from the war and includes seven chapters including "Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement" and "Party Building in Zhongshan and the Pearl River Region". It shows Zhongshan people's unyielding revolutionary spirit and their devotion to the motherland through pictures, images, audio files and panoramas.

The former site of the Pearl River Column Command (Gu's Ancestral Hall) is located in Binglang Mountain Village, Nanqiao Village in Wuguishan District. Last year, it was selected as one of only two sites in Guangdong in the third batch of state-level Anti-Japanese War memorial facilities and historical sites.
