Yakou Village is located on the bank of Lingdingyang Bay, part of the Pearl River Estuary. It has a beautiful pastoral scenery and a romantic coastline, which attract people to enjoy the sea breeze, sunrise, and let off steam.

The coastline is located at the easternmost point of the village. On the way to the village by car, large paddy fields and restaurants sit on both sides of the road.

Further on, the vision broadens, wildflowers bloom along the roadside, patches of mangroves grow close by in the estuary's waters, and fishing boats are moored on the mud flat... 

Before reaching the coastline, the estuary scenery at the junction of salt and fresh water is popular among many tourists.
