The 2nd China National Youth Games Softball Competition and the 2019 National Junior Softball Championship on July 18 kicked off in Zhongshan's Dongsheng Town, also known as the "China Baseball Small Town".

Up to 1,500 referees, coaches, athletes of 64 youth softball teams from all over China would participate in the 11-day intense competition.

The game is sponsored by the Handball, Hockey, Baseball and Softball Center of the General Administration of Sport in China and the Chinese Softball Association. Moreover, it is co-organized by the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau, Dongsheng Town People's Government, the Zhongshan Baseball and Softball Association and the Guangdong Panda Sports Culture Industry Co Ltd.
