Zhongshan plans to build a self-service sports-themed library, where leisure books and digital resources on sports and fitness will be collected. This library will provide an smart and modern reading experience.

The library will be located on the northwest side of Zhongshan Stadium, and it is currently inviting bids for design and construction.

According to the bidding documents, the master plan of this self-service library is to build a two-story building with a construction area of 300 square meters and a construction height of 9.45 meters within 861.1 square meters of the project land. The master plan also includes supporting features such as an outdoor reading and leisure area, small garden, etc.

In general, the concept of "sports, culture, reading, leisure, greenery and intelligent design" should be integrated into the architectural design, and "demonstration", "topicality" and "intellectualization" should be adopted as the construction objectives of the project.
