The Guangdong Football Association announced days before that the 2019-2020 Guangdong League will restart on July 31. With strict epidemic prevention and control measures, the event will continue in the form of the centralized competition system.

In the last three rounds of the group stage, the matches between 16 teams will be held in Foshan, Huizhou, Zhongshan and Zhanjiang, which are less affected by the epidemic and have better epidemic prevention and control measures. The competition will last from July 31 to August 2.

In the knockout stage, all matches will be held in Shunde District of Foshan City. There will be no audience during the matches.
