The third Guangdong Peasant Painting Exhibition, sponsored by Guangdong Folk Literature and Art Association, Guangdong Artists Association and Zhongshan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, opened in Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan on November 24 to describe the happy Guangdong, harmonious villages, the well-off society through poverty alleviation. Leaders and guests form China Folk Literature and Art Association, Guangdong Folk Literature and Art Association, Guangdong Artists Association, Zhongshan Literature and Arts Association, and Zhongshan Folk Literature and Art Association, together with about 100 peasant painting enthusiasts, attended the opening ceremony.

It is themed with "Building a Beautiful Countryside and Well-off Society through Poverty Alleviation". More than 100 works are selected from fine paintings created by participators in Huizhou, Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Jiangmen and other places in recent years, fully demonstrating peasants' positive attitude, the beautiful scene of a well-off society in all respects, and the development and achievements of peasant paintings in Guangdong Province.

The exhibition will last until December 13. People from all walks of life are warmly welcome.
