"I don't have to queue up. It really saves me a lot of time !" On August 20th, Mr Wang, a resident in Zhongshan, was applying for his social insurance identification on the 24-hour self-service terminal. He inserted his card, selected what to print, typed in the time range and clicked the "print" button. Within two minutes, the machine produced the identification paper. 

The program of "social insurance self-service entering the community" is being implemented by Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (HRSSB). In the near future, residents can enjoy the self-service in their community. 

The program is one of the Top10 people’s livelihood projects of the year. HRSSB plans to purchase 278 self-service terminals at one time with Municipal Finance Fund. The machines will be installed in human resources and social security service station in all administrative villages or communities. According to staff in HRSSB, the first batch of self-service terminals is expected to be installed in September.
