The 13th National Games came to an end in Tianjin on the evening of September 8.

More than 40 athletes from Zhongshan go into the finals of 17 sports in the National Games and eventually achieved 18 medals (11 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze) in all for Guangdong delegation. The numbers of local athletes participating, sports entries, gold medals and medals achieved reached record high.
