“Light bulbs and tubes are hazardous waste, while metals and beverage bottles are recyclables......” Recently, the launching ceremony of “Zhongshan Household Garbage Classification Publicity” was held in Central Power Plaza, during which the winners of the “LOGO and Slogan Competition of Household Garbage” were given the prizes.

Zhongshan had promoted compulsive household garbage classification and set up three pilot projects last year. Each town will construct the relevant garbage classification facilities, basically establish the “sorting collection, transport and disposal” working system, and carry out compulsive household garbage classification by the end of this year. A typical replicable, propagable and widely acceptable “compulsive household garbage classification” pattern will be developed by the end of 2019.
