According to the “Zhongshan 2018 Key Projects Plan” approved by the municipal “two sessions” this year, the city’s authorities will carry forward 171 key projects this year with 54.89bn yuan annual planned investment. The total investment will reach 400.95bn yuan.

These projects mainly focus on infrastructure, industrial engineering and people’s livelihood. Most effort will be put in industrial engineering and people’s livelihood projects in order to promote innovation-driving strategy, basic installation perfection, development of the city’s advantages, and integration into the “bay area” development.
