Zhongshan Consumer Council announced the consumer complaints report for 2017 on March 12. In last year, Zhongshan Consumer Council received a total of 2,043 complaints, which saved about 7.11 million yuan in direct economic losses for consumers. The council also served 3,925 consumers last year.

Reportedly, most of the complaints received by the Zhongshan Consumer Council related to contract issues. Last year, the council received 538 contract disputes, which accounted for 26.33% of the total.
