East District to advance ‘three old reform’
Updated: 2018-07-31    Source: Zhongshan Daily Large Medium Small Print

“The ‘three old reform’ in East District will be advanced simultaneously with urban design and planning. We will conduct in-depth research in major areas in terms of transportation, public service support and industrial layout, implement regulatory plan, carry out land management, and urge the ‘three old reform’ under a scientific system.”

Wu Zhiyu, Deputy Director of East District Office, looks forward to the East District “three old reform” and feels confident after the new policy was introduced recently.

In the past few years, East District has put many “three old reform” projects into operation and gets positive results. For example, The Summit central business district and “Purple Horse” The Summit 2 projects, which were reconstructed from old factories, are able to generate 20 times of economic benefits comparing with the previous format.

In the next stage, East District will urge “three old reform” on the areas between Qiwan Avenue and Changjiang Road, hoping to stimulate urban renewal vitality, resolve existing problems and lay the foundation for urban expansion and rural revitalization with the new policy.
