Zhongshan Park Music Festival to kick off this weekend

The 2018 Zhongshan Park Music Festival will kick off this weekend at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park in central city, according to Zhongshan Culture, Radio and TV, Press and Publication Bureau. Five theme music concerts including “Dream Night in Greater Bay Area”, “Secret Music Garden”, “The Songs for Youth”, “Zhongshan Pop” and “Harmonica and Jazz Party” will be brought to the audiences.

Hong Kong prominent jazz band 8Five2 formed by famous jazz musician Eugene Pao and renowned drummer Jun Kung will be invited to the performance by Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, one of the sponsors of the activity.

Reportedly, The 2018 Zhongshan Park Music Festival is one of the key programs in cultural exchange and cooperation within “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”.

Up to 7,000 free tickets are offered to citizens, and 2,500 fixed seats are arranged for each concert. Citizens who fail to obtain tickets can still enjoy the show at other parts of the park.
