It was the 152nd anniversary of the birth of Sun Yat-sen on November 12. As the hometown of the great man, Zhongshan carried out a series of activities in the name of the 10th anniversary of “Sun Yat-sen Culture” in addition to regular commemorative meeting.

The “Sun Yat-sen Culture Decade Activities and Projects” Briefing cum the opening ceremony of Lijingyuan Sun Yat-sen Culture Exchange Center, as well as the “From Confucius to Sun Yat-sen” theme performance were held at West District on the morning of November 11. 

Zhongshan Municipal Committee of CPPCC notified at the briefing that the “Sun Yat-sen Culture Decade Activities and Projects”, which include the feature film “A Great Man and a City”, the Chinese tunic suit culture tour, Sun Yat-sen’s granddaughters’ donation exhibition, cross-Strait art exhibition, a lecture for 5,000 students, a large theme symphony concert and etc, will be carried out to commemorate the great man.
