Updated: 2019-06-13    Source: Zhongshan Daily Large Medium Small Print

Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau recently studied out the exposure draft of the Measures for the Identification and Management of Public Interest Kindergartens in Zhongshan.

The revised management measures stipulate the minimum financial allowance for identified public interest kindergartens at 500 yuan per person per year.

The total salaries of teachers and staff for the whole kindergarten shall account for no less than 65% of the annual income from nursing and teaching fees, and the minimum salaries of teachers shall be no less than twice the minimum salary standard of Zhongshan stipulated by the government for the year.

In addition, the nursing and teaching fees of the private public interest kindergartens in township areas can fluctuate based on the related standards of Zhongshan, by no more than 20%.

Public interest kindergartens involve public kindergartens (including those run by the town governments, villages and other public organizations) and private public interest kindergartens. Currently, there are over 400 kindergartens of this kind across Zhongshan.
