Chen Xudong, Secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, on July 12 met with the delegation of Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association (HKPASEA) headed by president Thomas Lee.

In Zhongshan, the HKPASEA delegation visited the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Platform and the National Health Technology Park. 

Chen hopes HKPASEA will fully play its role of gathering industry leaders and professional elites of Hong Kong in order to foster communications and interaction of industrial and business sectors between Zhongshan and Hong Kong. He equally hopes HKPASEA will introduce more people from all works of life in Hong Kong for the mutual investment and development of Zhongshan.

HKPASEA consists of a group of social elites of Hong Kong. It gathers professionals in such fields as law, insurance and high technology. Since its establishment in 2006, HKPASEA has been giving full support to the Hong Kong SAR Government in administration according to law, actively participating in Hong Kong's social and political affairs, and actively promoting professional exchanges and cooperation among Hong Kong, Mainland China and the international community.
