The 2019 Volunteer Experience Summer Camp for College and High School Students with the theme of "Colorful Youth, Voluntary Actions" kicked off on July 16 at Yuanyang School in East District. Up to 40 volunteer service programs and 6 public-benefit experience courses will be offered to 120 participating college and high school students this year.

Compared with former years, the summer camp this year extends to 1 month, with additional highlights such as the Civilized Hospital Guide voluntary service, "Green River" the voluntary river patrol activity, etc. Other volunteer programs further cover such areas as youth service, special population service, cultural tourism, environmental protection, anti-drug publicity and medical voluntary service.

Keeping pace with the times, additional public-benefit experience courses covering garbage sorting, compost making with kitchen waste, life education and etc will be set up for campers to broaden their vision.

The experience camp has also increased its coverage of towns and districts. College and high school students from Xiaolan, Nantou, Minzhong and Tanzhou, among others, can participate in volunteer services this year.
