Zhongshan Transportation Bureau and a mainstream online car-hailing platform recently launched a pilot program for the integrated development of taxi and online car-hailing, which applies the online appraisal system of online car-hailing to offline taxi service. The first batch of 85 selected taxi drivers has started to work since July 22.

Zhonggang Taxi company will upgrade and beautify the appearance and interior of the "Selected Taxis" in September to make them to be easily recognized by citizens.

Selected taxi drivers should comply with stricter service requirements. They have to make sure their taxis clean and tidy, with no peculiar smell or foreign objects; of unified appearance. They are also required to complete orders without any cancellation, detouring, overcharge, disturbance, distraction, and other unsafe behaviors.
