Sanjiao Town just launched a number of measures actively promoting the construction of the Yudean Combined Cooling Heating and Power (CCHP) project that has currently become a powerful weapon in Sanjiao's fight for the Blue Sky Defense Battle.

A government official of Sanjiao Town introduced that the first phase of the project can provide 1.38 million kWh of electricity per hour to Zhongshan when it is completed and placed into service. Furthermore, the power project will hourly provide 600 tons of reliable, high-quality steam to companies using heat in Sanjiao, superseding more than 70 high-pollution small coal-fired and oil-burning boilers.

This advanced ecological project is located in the Gaoping Industrial Zone in Sanjiao Town, Zhongshan City. The total investment to date has been 4.85 billion yuan. Project construction officially started on August 28, 2015. On June 10, 2018, temporary power was connected and debugged.

The first and second machine sets of the project passed the 168-hour, full-load trial operation in December, 2018 and January, 2019, respectively. After a successful 168-hour, full-load trial operation, the third machine set was delivered for operation in June, 2019. This marked the completion and operation of the three machine sets of the first phase of the CCHP project.
