The fair will showcase the achievements in Zhongshan's poverty alleviation, and it will promote special products, tourism resources and industrial cooperation in the supported areas.

The fair is divided into three exhibition areas: Zhongshan Poverty Alleviation Achievement Area, Product Exhibition Area, and Industry Promotion and Negotiation Area. 

The Zhongshan Poverty Alleviation Achievement Area publicizes the policy of poverty alleviation and shows Zhongshan's achievements in poverty alleviation in recent years. 

There are 7 regions in the Product Exhibition Area, itself covering nearly 1,100 square meters. Here, more than 300 kinds of characteristic agricultural products will be gathered together from Zhaoqing City, Chaozhou City, Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province, Jiamusi City of Heilongjiang Province, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze of Sichuan Province, Gongbo'gyamda County of Nyingchi City of Tibet, and Caohu Town of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. 

During the fair, exhibitors have also scheduled an agricultural products promotion event, including featured performances, agricultural products introduction, on-site auctions and other activities. Love auction and and other activities will also be held on site.
