The 2019 Chinese Overseas Students Return to Contribute to China (Zhongshan) activity was launched on the morning of October 23.

The theme of this activity was "Creating an Innovative Greater Bay Area and Realizing Dream with Wisdom".

A total of 15 overseas top talents from France, the United States, Australia, Sweden and Denmark brought their projects for the roadshow. They focused on intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, new generation of electronic information, new materials, and other fields. Here, they participated in technical exchanges, project docking, talent introduction, and other activities with Zhongshan enterprises.

Zhai Zhen, a graduate of University in Washington, Seattle, came to the roadshow with his entrepreneurial project, "Underground Space Security and Smart Gallery in a Smart City". "We have already cooperated with universities and some research institutes in Zhongshan, and we have learned that Zhongshan's entrepreneurial support policy is better and more suitable for our project," said Zhai Zhen.

At present, Zhongshan has built a national-level entrepreneurial park for students studying abroad, 11 national-level innovation platforms and branches, 31 municipal and township business development bases, 56 post-doctoral work platforms and 16 provincial doctor workstations. As of August of this year, there have been 1,088 talented individuals with a doctoral degree in Zhongshan.
