The Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen-Yangjiang Public Welfare Job Fair was organized at the Zhongshan Expo Center on October 26. More than 300 companies from Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen and Yangjiang cities launched a job competition with 11,239 vacancies, thereby attracting 8,873 job seekers. 

A total of 227 Zhongshan-based companies attended this job fair, including such listed companies and large-scale renowned companies as Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor Co Ltd, Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co Ltd, Tongyu Communication Inc and Opple Lighting Electronic (Zhongshan) Co Ltd, as well as 30 key employers such as Perfect (China) Co Ltd, Mentholatum (China) Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and Zhongshan One Plus One Chain Co Ltd.

Sixty-seven positions with a monthly salary exceeding 10,000 yuan were offered, with 161 employees required at this fair. Also, 235 positions with a monthly salary exceeding 8,000 yuan were offered, with 551 employees required. 

According to Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (ZSHRSSB), this Job Fair also attracted about 100 veteran job seekers. "I hope to find a job in a technical post with growth room and development potential," said Mr Chen, an ex-serviceman. 

The employment recommendation meeting for veterans will be held on November 6. As of now, ZSHRSSB has contacted some companies to sort out a number of suitable posts.
