The 14th Zhongshan Forum for Health and Development and the 2019 Wu Jieping Medicine Prize Presentation Ceremony will be held in Zhongshan on November 29 and 30, according to information from the Zhongshan National Health Technology Park. The Forum will have five sub-forums running concurrently.

The theme of this year's event is "Jointly Building an International, Innovative and Healthy Greater Bay Area". Through keynote speeches, high-level dialogues, and academic seminars focusing on health industry development trends, innovation kinetic energy, and opportunities for cooperation in the Greater Bay Area, this forum aims to discuss a complementary development path with Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other Greater Bay Area cities. Discussions like these will be powerful catalysts that will carry out technological innovation in the biomedicine and health industry, cultivate and gather elite talent, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of colleges and universities.

The Zhongshan Forum for Health and Development, jointly sponsored by the Zhongshan People's Government and 12 first-class academic associations across China, has been successfully held for 13 times before with a wide range and scope of influence both at home and abroad.
