The Dalian Culture and Tourism Promotion Meeting was held on the morning of November 12 at the Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel. It was attended by representatives from the administrative departments of culture and tourism, travel agencies, scenic spots and airports of the two cities.

The promotion meeting primarily introduced Dalian's tourist attractions, seafood cuisine, research itinerary as well as seaside scenery, humanities and history, romantic art, seafood feasts, shopping, and intelligent transportation. The goal was to get this information to Zhongshan tourism industry insiders.

"We hope that more people in Zhongshan will understand Dalian, go to Dalian, fall in love with Dalian, and take Dalian, a fresh coastal city in northeast China, as their new tourist destination," said a representative from the Dalian Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
