Nearly 180 guests from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas, who attended the first Conference of Overseas Chinese in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, visited the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen on November 13 to get a first-hand understanding of Sun Yat-sen Culture. They were also able to experience Zhongshan's profound cultural heritage.

Feng Jieyou, chairman of the Zhongshan Society of Fiji Northwest Area, warmly introduced his Zhongshan hometown to other guests during the visit. Feng said he has often returned to Zhongshan to visit his relatives and share views; he has also been cognizant of the rapid changes in Zhongshan. "This time, I learned about Zhongshan's philosophy, actions and strength in their participation in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Overseas Zhongshanese like me are willing to actively promote this new round of development in Zhongshan," Feng stated.

Wen Juwu, executive chairman of Guangdong Federation Netherlands, said that although he is not a native of Zhongshan, he still has a special fondness for the city. "Zhongshan is livable and tourist-friendly, with a neat and comfortable environment. Sun Yat-sen Culture and spirits have nourished the land and generations of Zhongshan people; this timeless culture has become a symbol of the city." Wen added.
