The Leading Group Office for the Implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy of the Zhongshan Municipal Committee of CPC (LGO) recently announced the list of the first group of Zhongshan Rural Revitalization Experts. Sixteen senior engineers, professors and scholars with expertise in such fields as urban-rural planning, garden design, irrigation and water conservancy, architectural design and roads and bridges construction, including Wu Weiyi, Huang Yan and Zhao Yuanqing, were shortlisted.

In order to rise to the professional level of the "Beautiful Countryside" construction program, the LGO planned to set up a Zhongshan rural revitalization expert database. The office then in mid-October began to publicly solicit outstanding experts to join the database. To qualify each professional must have been engaging in their profession or relevant field for at least 5 years and hold professional titles above vice-senior, or, he/she may be an industry expert with rich management experience in relevant competent administrative departments.

Currently, the Zhongshan Rural Revitalization Expert Database is mainly set up to evaluate agricultural and rural projects and provide professional guidance for the design and construction of "Beautiful Countryside" projects in Zhongshan and solve professional problems.
