The 11th Guangdong Provincial Congress of Returned Overseas Chinese and Family Members was held in Guangzhou a few days ago. Shaxi Overseas Chinese Federation and Torch Development Zone Overseas Chinese Federation won the Provincial Overseas Chinese Contribution Award, while Liu Yingzi, Chen Yuanxuan, Sun Sisong and Lyu Zhihong won the Provincial Advanced Individual Award for Returned Overseas Chinese and Family Members.

Mai Peiyu who lives in Shiqi District, Zhongshan attended the meeting. After returning to Zhongshan from Macao, she has been involved in overseas Chinese affairs for more than ten years.

Mai Peiyu happily said that she was also very honored and greatly encouraged that Zhongshan had received so many awards this time. "My home and root are in Zhongshan.
