The Spring Festival is approaching. At present, Zhongshan is decorating the main roads and intersections with lanterns and flowers. Urban roads and street attractions are also decorated.

It is reported that a total of 94,000 pots of flowers have been placed in urban areas this year, and floral displays in front of the buildings of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress and the CPPCC Zhongshan Committee on Xingzhong Avenue have been delicately designed. Nearly 83,000 pots of flowers were used to assemble the big floral display, which presents the Chinese characters for "Celebrate the Spring Festival" and "Chinese Knot". Flowers have also been placed to decorate the main entrance of Sun Wen Memorial Park, and both sides of the main entrance to the Zhongshan municipal government building as well as other important areas in Zhongshan.

In addition, the Zhongshan Urban Landscape Management Department has also arranged traditional lanterns, which are full of Spring Festival flavor, at such places as Zimaling Park, Sun Wen Memorial Park, and Yixian Lake Park. The department also replaced and replanted flowers at important sections such as Xingzhong Avenue and Bo'ai Road, and planted large-sized red Bougainvillea on the two green spaces at the toll entrance of Bo'ai Road Expressway.
