Zhongshan in recent days issued a total of 5.976 million yuan of temporary price subsidies for June to needy groups. Since the beginning of this year, Zhongshan has issued a total of 39.6151 million yuan of temporary price subsidies to needy groups, benefiting some 177,100 citizens.

Monitoring how social assistance and security standards are linked with price rises is an important step to alleviate the impact of inflated prices on the basic quality of life of needy groups. After reviewing Zhongshan's CPI (consumer price index) rise situation in June, temporary price subsidies would be paid monthly (from March to June 2020). The standard in June was 193.6 yuan per person.
