On the morning of August 29, the foundation laying ceremony for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Gold & Jewelry Fashion and Culture Square was held in Tsuihang New District.

The project is located at the starting area of Tsuihang New District, with a land area of 48,140.6 square meters and a total construction area of 410,000 square meters. It is scheduled to start construction on October 1, 2020 and will be completed and put into use in October 2023.

Upon completion, more than 500 well-known brands and enterprises in the international and domestic jewelry industry will be introduced to the square to form a fashion industry cluster based around gold jewelry. It will drive the annual output value of related supporting industries to more than 5 billion yuan and directly create more than 3,000 jobs.
