Shagang West Road welcomed passing citizens and vehicles with its brand-new asphalt pavement on August 30, announcing that the main line of Shagang West Road reopened to traffic.

Shagang West Road is 4.6 kilometers long. It is connected to national highway G105 in the west and Shagang Middle Road in the east, passing through West District and Gangkou Town. It is part of Shagang Highway, an important expressway connecting the eastern and western parts of Zhongshan. The road is designed with four lanes on each way.

At present, the driving time from the Zhongshan Port Bridge to G105 on Shagang Highway can be reduced 20 to 30 minutes.
