On August 31, Guangdong Provincial Corps of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force Zhongshan Detachment held the 2020 summer and autumn retirement ceremony. Dozens of soldiers bid farewell to the military flag and their olive green uniforms.

At the ceremony, Ye Gangsheng, political commissar of the Zhongshan armed police detachment, delivered a speech to praise the contributions made by the veterans to the continued development of the army and express heartfelt appreciation for their hard work.

Accompanied by the melodious "Camel Bells" tune, leaders of the detachment and active service soldiers removed the iconic accessories from their retiring comrades.
