The first 45 Zhongshan medical staff who fought on the front-lines of the epidemic, together with their families, were treated to stay at the Guangdong Model Resort to recuperate and take a vacation.

"It has been a long time since I had a good time with my children. I took this chance and brought them here with me," said Ouyang Jieru, one of the front-line medical staff from Torch Development Zone Hospital who assisted Hubei in fighting the epidemic, adding that during over 40 days of assisting Wuhan, the medical staff always kept in high spirits, but they missed their children and loved ones greatly.

"When I was in Hubei, I was very grateful to my wife for her moral support. I hope my family can have a good vacation and revitalize our relationship," said Yuan Jianzhi from Xiaolan People's Hospital.

During the recuperation vacation, the organizers will arrange a variety of activities such as special performances, learning activities, sports and fitness and movie appreciation, so that medical staff can exchange their work experiences, enhance friendships, and strive to return to work in the best mental state.

The other 8 medical personnel will also have a recuperation vacation later.
