On the upper left of the black background is a huge panda head which is composed of human beings with shovels and bulldozers seen while looking closely. This unique design symbolizes humankinds damage to the natural environment. Through the skillful use of cucoloris, Lin Lin constructs a very compelling picture in black and white.

According to Lin Lin, there are two reasons he chose a panda as the main pattern. First, pandas are the "national treasure of China", whose charming and ingenuous images stimulate people's positive emotions. Second, pandas are very rare and exotic animals. He hoped to call on human beings worldwide not to over exploit resources, because protecting our ecological environment also means protecting ourselves.

Founded in 2007, IDA is one of the world's top ten highly recognized international design awards.
