A press briefing for the 2021 Zhongshan Charity Parade was held on February 21. This year, the parade team will assemble at 8:30 am, and the event will start at 9:30 am on February 26, also January 15th on the lunar calendar.

The parade route this year will be the same as that of previous years. The parade team will start from the east and west sides of Xingzhong Avenue and conclude at the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress and CPPCC Zhongshan Committee Building. After a brief acknowledgement at the junction of Sunwen Road East and Xingzhong Avenue, the team will disband on both sides of Sunwen Road East.

According to epidemic prevention and control requirements, at most 5,000 people can participate in the parade this year, and the duration will be shortened from 3 hours to 1 hour. In addition, the performance squads will be scaled down and no squads made by students and other minors will be allowed. It is worth noting that real-name registration and nucleic acid testing will be required for all participants.

Anyone who participated in the Zhongshan Charity Parade donation activities last year or this year can sign up for the parade. Work units should confirm the number of people participating in the parade and submit a team registration form to the parade department before 12:00 noon on February 23.
